Max Richardson is an American born commercial photographer living in Israel since 1991. For the past ten years he has made Jerusalem's most revered sites his visual home.
His work is published in the books:
The Western Wall Tunnels, Touching the Stones of Our Heritage. (Israel Ministry of Defense 2002)
City of David, Studies of Ancient Jerusalem, (Megalim Institute 2006), the award winning website www.cityofdavid.org
The Jerusalem Post and The Israel Museum among other publications.
Max has given lighting workshops at the Hadassah College of Technology in Jerusalem and was responsible for the lighting in the books Historic Synagogues of the World (1996 Neil Folberg, Aperture Foundation) and Travels with Van Gogh and the Impressionists (2006 Lin Arison / Neil Folberg Abbeville Press).
Max also maintains commercial, architectural and engineering clients in Israel and abroad and is the owner of GaleriaMax a photography gallery/studio in Jerusalem.
